The End of the Battle

The battle comes to an end when both sides realize that one is weaker than their opponent. It is a series of shoving matches where one team pushes the other team back to their side of the field. When both teams realize that one team is dominant, the victor emerges. In this battle, our team lost but their is no dishonor in losing, but their is no victory march home. The march home is quiet and somber. But no worries, victory will come next year if the gods wish it.

Mikoshi - Battle Day

Before the battle begins, the Mikoshi is blessed at the Shinto Shrine and prepared for battle. Any decorations that can cause damage to contestants are removed.
