Kumano Nachi Taisha Grand Shrine
Kumano Nachi Taisha is a Shinto Shrine with its religious origins in the ancient nature worship of the large waterfall called Nachi no-Otaki and is the head Shrine of over 4,000 Kumano shrines in Japan. The grand shrine is part of the Kumano Sanzan, three grand Shrines of Kumano and a major pilgrimage destination.

Sacred Nachi Falls
This is the highest waterfall in Japan and one of the most sacred. It has been revered as the dwelling place of god since ancient times.
