Arita Station

If you visit Arita, the place to rent bikes is at the train station. Like anyplace in Japan, the station is just more than a place to catch a train at. It is there for bike rentals, information, rest and food (this includes curry which can be ordered in advance and heated before your departure). The station rents two types of bikes, the regular and electric motor assisted. The electric motor assist is fun to ride on the hills of Arita.
