Japanese mailbox - nothing is simple in Japan. The left side is for letters & postcards and the right side is for other mail. Post-offices are a big deal in Japan. In many aspects, they are similar to a bank in how they operate.

I love the narrow street in the last picture. Just like the streets in my wife's neighborhood in Tochigi.

As you well know, narrow streets are the places where people live, shop and commute. Car accidents are rare in Japan although I finally did see one small accident our last visit.
