The display inside the museum was a great insight into Tezuka Osamu's background and the museum had a movie theater where you could watch the original Astro boy cartoons. Astro boy is symbolic of Japan's rebirth after the atomic bombings. In the theater, there is a video predating Astro boy by Tezuka Osamu, it shows an American pilot who crash lands in Japan, only to be greeted by an angry Japanese man who is raising his fist in anger, then extends it out in a gesture of peace with a hand shake. You have to admire Osamu's frank and honest approach to help Japan find its place in the world today.
