Karawa-Kan Tile Museum

Tiles are made from wooden molds, set to dry then fired.





End caps for roofs, the smaller cap is for the back
of the house and the larger is for the front.

Swastikas are Buddhist symbols that originated from
Indian Sanskrit. They mean different things from
which way they face. On Japanese maps they designate
 the presence of Buddhist Temples and are considered sacred.
